I help growing churches communicate their story, vision, and mission — through creative direction, brand strategy, and content that moves people.
Lives changed, restored families, transformed communities. It's happening every week. The problem isn't what's going on inside the walls. It's that there is so much going on, the stories and impact can get lost. Who is owning your story? Your brand? And how is it all being communicated? Who is it reaching? That's where I help.
Create a message so compelling and an identity so connecting that new visitors feel the life and mission of your church. Make what you communicate a reason to stay.
When people don't understand the vision, when the mission isn't made tangible, they feel less bought in. They give less, serve less, and invest less. Story creates conviction. Conviction creates impact.
You're putting in the work. But it doesn't feel cohesive, doesn't connect to your story, and doesn't quite reflect who you actually are — and it isn't reaching the right people. Let's build something that does.
I act as a creative and story lead for your ministry — similar to a full-time Creative Director, delivered as your fractional partner.
Your voice, your visual identity, your positioning. Built or sharpened to make every piece of communication feel like you.
Testimonials, impact stories, sermon series, reels — planned and rooted in narrative strategy.
Full creative concepts, messaging, and rollout plans for everything your ministry is doing.
Consistent, on-brand content that builds and connects your audience. Strategy, calendar, and platform direction.
I help build, lead and grow your creative volunteers and staff — setting direction and increasing capacity over time.
Monthly planning, quarterly reviews, annual strategy — I sit at the table with your leadership team, not just in your inbox.
I start by understanding your church, your mission, and where your story is breaking down. I build your Story Map and brand voice from day one.
I build or sharpen your brand voice, messaging framework, and communication strategy — giving your whole team a shared language to work from.
Monthly or weekly. I'm in your planning meetings, guiding your creative team, producing content, and implementing campaigns.
I help coach team members and invested volunteers, so your church's creative capacity compounds beyond the engagement.
A few projects that show the range — brand, campaign, and story.
As creative lead at Subsplash, I concepted and directed The Drop — Subsplash's product-launch experiences. I set the creative vision, shaped the script and visual language, and aligned cross-functional teams around one cohesive story. More than a video, it became a brand moment — drawing a real audience and beating our awareness and engagement goals.
For Churchome's weekend experience, I directed the creative for The WKND — the promo campaign and the short-form social rollout. I built an identity and content approach that felt native to where their audience (students) actually spends time, and made it something they wanted to share.
On the Navajo Nation, I directed a short documentary for World Vision — finding the story, guiding the interviews, and shaping the edit around one family's journey from a home they couldn't repair to a new one built on their land. The thread I drew out — gratitude turned into paying it forward — is what makes the piece land. Story direction is knowing which thread to pull.
Three engagement levels based on how much creative leadership your church needs. All three include senior strategy, embedded direction, and the full scope of what a Fractional Creative Director owns.
Available to any tier, or as standalone engagements for churches not ready for a retainer.
I'm Denver — a fractional communications leader for growing churches. I've served inside the church as a pastor, produced stories for World Vision in the field, and spent the last 7 years at Subsplash implementing creative strategy and producing content that helps churches communicate their mission more clearly.
